Mess up the manholes

In Delfino Plaza, there are plenty of manholes you can mess up. This can be difficult to do, and it may not work with every manhole. Stomp on the manhole and then try jumping out of it weird-ishly. This means jumping and hovering right before you come out of it, jumping at weird angles, and jumping in and out repeatedly. Doing these things can make the manhole act strangely. For example, without much trouble you'll make the manhole flip its cover picture erratically, sometimes suddenly switching from Sun to Moon or visa versa. Also, when you jump out of the hole, you will sometimes suddenly appear on the top instead of fly out of the hole. Also, if you hover and jump out of it at the same time, you can get the manhole to flip twice. However, if you fiddle a lot with it, the manhole will stop functioning properly. You will not need to stomp on the manhole to get in; you just fall through it when you get near it. You can even hang on to the edge of it. You can do many things with these holes and mess them up to many different degrees... try stuff out!

This is very similar to the Floating badguys glitch. When you are on Yoshi, make him eat a fruit. While his tongue is still traveling back to his mouth with the fruit, jump off of Yoshi. The fruit will be floating in midair. Now, jump back on Yoshi and go a bit farther away. If you stick your tongue out, the fruit will travel back to your mouth even if you're nowhere near the fruit!

Get into Pianta village with only one Shine Sprite

Go over to the area with the Shine Gate and get on either side of it. Climb on top of one of the baskets that the ladies ask you to bring fruit to and jump and hover to get behind the gate. From here, stand right behind one of the sides of the gate and wall kick off of it, then hover to one of the inside ledges of the gate. You should now be up on the area with the giant shine sprite. Don't worry about cleaning it; you won't be able to get the Sprite that appears until you have the rocket nozzle. Anyway, walk to the very back of the side you are on and do a triple jump towards the screen. It's easiest if you do two small jumps and then do your normal jump for the third. Once you've done that, hover back towards the gate. If your jump was high enough, you should be able to grab the ledge and pull yourself up. Now just jump in the red tunnel and your in the last world before the boss area! It works a lot easier doing the triple jump off of one of the sides since they are staight too. You can try it off of the curved part in front, but it will be much harder. Usually if you do even get the triple jump off of it, you hit one of the sides instead of going towards the outside of the gate. It's probably best to do it from one of the sides.

In Hotel Delfino, in the episode where you have to get the ghosts out of the attic (Mysterious Hotel Delfino), you can sometimes see thorugh the walls and see the ghosts in rooms. If you leave Yoshi in a room, you can see him in a black void from the Main floor.

Go to Pinna Park and go to the spinny platforms. To get to them, go into the main area and the pool where you fought Mecha-Bowser. Then, turn right to find the platforms. These platforms turn when you stomp them or shoot water at them. Find the two horizontal ones. Position yourself near the back of them and make the platform spin you into the wall. Tons of stars will fly out and you will be wedged in the wall! It is easy to get out.
