Enemies through the island

Go to the South Triangle Island. If an enemy is chasing you, go around the island. The enemy will, most likely, jump through the island.

Die instantly on Fire Mountain/Ice Ring Isle
Discovered by: Thomas Pitt
Exciting-ness scale: 3? out of 10
Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon.

Get to Fire Mountain or Ice Ring Isle, then freeze and thaw it as normal. Get out of the boat and stand on the island. Then, get your Wind Waker out and play the Song of Passing. As soon as day or night comes, the island will have gone back to normal - and Link will 'die' immediately! You'll then restart in the boat.

Searchlights during the day
Discovered by: Thomas Pitt
Exciting-ness scale: 2? out of 10
Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon.

When you're sailing towards the Forsaken Fortress for the second time, make sure it's daytime. As the island loads up, you'll see the searchlights shining onto the sea in the day, which would make little sense. A few seconds later, day will quickly turn to night - so you have to be quick to see it!

Telescope glitch
Discovered by: Thomas Pitt
Exciting-ness scale: 7? out of 10
Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon.

At the beginning of the game, when Aryll gives you the telescope, press A and left just as she gives it to you. This should cause you to roll to the left. Link will then hold up the telescope twice and you'll see a weird double-telescope! After the talking has finished, Link will have a telescope floating above his head until you enter a door or die! The telescope will also leave a 'trail' of shininess whenever Link runs about. It's quite tricky to pull this off. A better way is to use the Gameshark Moonjump code, and moonjump just after Link holds the telescope up.

See islands loading
Discovered by: Thomas Pitt
Exciting-ness scale: 5? out of 10
Note: This requires opening your Gamecube while the game is running. It may damage the disk or your Gamecube, so please be careful.
Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon.

Have your telescope equipped to a button as you sail towards an island in the distance. Open and close the disc cover quickly while at sea to stop the disc. As soon as you hear the disc spin up, get out your telescope and zoom in on the island in the distance. You'll see the large gray mass turn into the island, bit by bit as it loads! Fire Mountain and Ice Ring Isle are good ones to try on this. If you continue sailing, you can sometimes get much closer to the island than you would normally before it loads, even right up against it.

Link hauls up nothing
Discovered by: Thomas Pitt
Exciting-ness scale: 4? out of 10
Note: This requires opening your Gamecube while the game is running. It may damage the disk or your Gamecube, so please be careful.
Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon.

Stop your boat by an area where there's treasure at the bottom of the sea and get out your grappling hook. Before lowering it, open and close the Gamecube disc cover to stop the disc. Then, lower your grappling hook into the sea. As soon as it hits the treasure at the bottom, a cut scene will start, and the disc will spin up again. Often the necessary data won't have loaded by the time the treasure is hauled up. The result is that you see the hook come up with nothing (but Link looks at it as though it were treasure). Then, Link will dive into the box and triumphantly hold up nothing! The game will freeze here, you'll have to reset to get out of it. Occasionally, the data will not have loaded by the time Link needs to look in the box. Link will dive into nothing (as if he's opening a box), you'll see some weird camera angles, and the game will freeze.
