Over the invisible wall at the sunken ship

In one area, you must light the torches to receive 100 rupees or so. You are kept behind a gate and are not supposed to be able to cross to the area with the torches; there is an invisible wall. However, you can get past it and explore the sunken ship...

Go to Needle Rock Isle and go into the hole indicated in the picture that is blocked by ice at first (shoot the ice with a fire arrow). You are brought to the area where you must light the torches. You may light the torches if you wish, but it's unneccessary. Get some magic from the pots so you can use your leaf to fly and explore the other sections. Now, stand at the position shown in the picture and aim at a torch that is above you with your hookshot, on the area of the ship. In the photo, we have tried to zoom in on the torch so you may see where to aim it. If you do it just right, you will hookshot to the ship, almost slide off, but get stopped by the gate of the ship. Now, you can look around. If you want to get past the gate that blocks you from the areas, climb onto this wooden piece. Then, use your leaf and fly directly to the area. You can also fly back in the direction you started in and land on a pole. However, you can not fly past the gate from the pole because of an invisible wall and another invisble wall blocks the ship directly in front of you.

I guess this is one of the few games where they make everything you can see solid, even if you're not supposed to be able to get to it. But, going to these forbidden areas does get you sorta stuck there, so you have to restart your game. Have fun exploring!

Putting items inside the table

This is a small but sort of funny glitch. This can probably happen in many areas, but we tried it out at the Picto guy's shop on Windfall Island. Pick up the stool or the pots and go behind the guy's table. Set the item down in front of the table and then push it into the table with Link's body. The item will then go inside the table and become barely visible. With pots, when it is in the table, you can still pick it up through the table.

You can actually bring items into those small holes that Link can crouch down and crawl through! Set down the item you want in front of the hole, or push it there. Push it into the hole with your body if possible. Then, crouch down and push the item around! It's hard to bring them through turns; they often get stuck and you go through them when you go past them. You can also push items from behind. Sometimes the item sorta goes through your face. We tried this out at the place on Windfall Island where you first meet Tingle. You can push cups, plates, pitchers (but be sure not to break them), pots, and probably more. If you manage to push something with you to a rat, it will hover in the air as you fall to your doom. Try experimenting with this one!

Go to Zunari's outdoor shop at night, stand on a mat, and play the Song of Passing. When dawn breaks, the game will pause for a while, then the screen will move to the sky for a split second and then back to where you are with a run-down version of the overworld theme (the one when you're at the sea but not in the boat).

Infinite health, magic, and magic armor

Get to the point where you've already healed your grandmother with a fairy so you can get her granny's soup. Get a full amount of it in one bottle, and have another empty bottle. Equip the bottle that has granny's soup in it, then hit whichever button you have it set to and start at the same time. It should open your inventory. From here, switch out the bottle of soup with the empty bottle, then unpause it. Link should drink half of the bottle, but if you look, it's not from the bottle you had before, it's from the one that was previously empty! You now should have a full bottle of it and a bottle that is half full. (If you do this with a bottle that is only half full you will end up with only a half full bottle, your empty bottle will remain empty..you will still recover all health and double your attack.) The reason this works is that you are switching the bottle out as you are supposed to be using it..so when you switch to an empty bottle it doesn't realize that the bottle was switched and since it was already in the process of using it, the contents are copied into your empty bottle. You end up with the empty bottle only being half full because you use half of it in the process. You can do this as often as you like, meaning you now have unlimited health and magic! And not only does the soup completely refill your health, it doubles your attack! Combine that with the Magic Armor and you're unstoppable!! You can use this to copy anything you can hold in bottles.
