When you get to the point where you can take a boat from the main island to Cortex's Lair and visa versa, approach the boat. If you jump on the boat like it tells you to, it will take you to Cortex's Lair/the main island but if you do a body slam onto the boat, it won't. Go back to the top

Do the above boat glitch and then walk up to the front of the boat. Jump normally and when you land back on the boat, the game will think you just jumped from the land to the boat. As soon as this happens, push and hold "square, X, triangle, and circle." Doing this usually makes the game lock up at a black screen. Go back to the top

When you get to a switch that you have to throw Cortex to so he can open a bridge for you to get across, throw Cortex across and proceed normally across the bridge. Walk up to the switch and jump once. Notice that you don't move closer to the switch. Try doing a double jump. Doing this will allow you to jump on top on the switch. Move a little in any direction and you will see that you have walked right off the switch but are still standing in the air as though you are still on the switch. Go back to the top

When you get to the point where you fight the Totum boss, (right after Cortex shoots the farmer who wants you to kill the worms who are blocking his trees from growing) after killing the boss, he will fall to the ground and stay there. After the movie sequence, run into or jump onto the boss. It will kill you. Go back to the top
