CGS Statistics
Here are some interesting statistics I found from the site, and from glitches in general.
- This site was created July 16, 2003.
- The site was named after a place I interned at over the summer. We felt it would give the site a scholarly feel (we wish to seem serious yet fun).
- The video game with the most glitches is Super Mario Sunshine, with 47 glitches, making up close to 8% of the glitches on the site.
- The Nintendo Gamecube has the most videogames with glitches.
- No glitch has received a 10/10 rating. They just aren't that insanely life-changing, but they're close.
- Only four glitches on the site have received the coveted 9/10, though severl have come close, and I'm questioning whether they deserve higher scores. Here is what made it: 1) Donkey Kong (the Rambi Glitch), 2) Yoshi's Island (Mess up the first level), 3)Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (fly out of the boundaries), 4) Super Mario 64 (beat the game with 16 stars)
- The lowest rating ever given was a 0.5/10 for a Mario's Time Machine glitch involving Mario changing direction during a jump.
- Some of the most silly things we have glitches for: Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Mario's Fundamentals, old arcade games, and Kyocera cellphone games.
