Harmless turnip
Discovered by: Jesse of CGS
Exciting-ness scale: 1 out of 10
Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

Go to Princess Peach's Target Test training session. Go to the platform under and near the target between the two walls at the right (indicated in the screenshot). Pull out a turnip. Jump and hold up, while moving right. When you're under that target, jump again so you are now in between the two sides. Press Z to drop your turnip and you will see that the turnip does not brake the target, but it actually goes through it.

Bomb fun 1

Be Link or Young Link, and have a friend be the same. Now stand right next to each other, facing each other, and have your friend pull out a bomb. Now get him to jump once (a full jump, not a small hop) and drop the bomb on your shield while you are standing still. If the bomb hits the right place, the bomb will bounce off your shield, go up, come down and keep bouncing off your shield until it just explodes. It looks very funny and the turnip does not break the target; it actually goes through it.

Be Link or Young Link, it does not matter who your opponent is, and go to Hyrule. Go to the far right of the stage where there is that little platform that is the second platform going left. It shouldn't really matter where it is, as long as it is a pltform, but this spot is easiest. Stand anywhere under it and pull out a bomb. Jump and drop it so that it is on the platform, but doesn't instantly explode. Now, pull out another bomnb and do the same thing. Once you drop that second bomb ontop of the first one, the bombs randomly go flying (not too far, but enough to notice). It's a little weird because often they won't have exploded yet, and they almost seem to be acting like the similar poles of a magnet.

Go to Hyrule, and have one character be Mario, the other be Samus, Link, or Young Link. Have Mario stand on the lower grassy part of the level (as shown in blue in the screenshot). At the left-most part of the level, have Samus/Link/Young Link grab the edge. Then press backwards (left in this case), press and hold forward (right), and then have the character grab (Z) on the little part of that thin platform (as seen in the screenshot - red indicates Samus/Link/Young Link). When the desired character grabs onto that little part of the level, have Mario jump and use forward+b on his opponent. The character will either go flying upwards, or will turn around and be holding onto nothing. It is possible that this sort of glitch will work just about anywhere, by having the character grab something and hang there (Like on a wall in Fourside, or near the edge in Final Destination).

Red = Samus/Link/Young Link; Blue = Mario

Thanks to Jesse for this screenshot!

Have either Fox or Falco use their up+b attacks aimed down left or down right, whichever keeps them on the level. If you look carefully, they'll hit the platform, bounce off, and then be as though they are disbaled (Unable to jump, attack, or do anything you could normally do when you are able to move).
