Kirby's permanent frying pan

Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

Play as Kirby and have a Mr. Game and Watch player. Go to the Mushroom Kingdom, Green Greens, or Icicle Mountain. Have Kirby suck in Mr. Game and Watch and press down to gain his power. Then, use Kirby's pan to break as many blocks as possible. It's difficult to say exactly how or why this works, but if you're having trouble, try hitting the blocks while you're on top of them so that you fall. Once done correctly, Kirby will hold a pan in his hands and if you use it (B), it will turn grey temporarily. If Kirby dies, he will return as his normal pink self, but he will still be holding the pan. The game acts as if he doesn't have it, though, and pressing B will make Kirby suck in stuff. You can also bring out Kirby's frying pan on Tingle's balloon or Birdo if you hit them while standing on them in the right way.

Mr. Game and Watch's semi-permanent turtle

Note: This may not work if you have the wrong version of the game.
Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

Play as Mr. Game and Watch and go to the Mushroom Kingdom, Green Greens, or Icicle Mountain. Now, try breaking lots of blocks with the turtle (back+A in the air). Jump keep trying to break blocks from different angles (like below you and above you) and eventually you'll land with the turtle still in your hands. You can run around with it and use some attacks with it. Sometimes it will go away. But, if you have it out and die, you'll still have it out when you come back to life.

Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

Go to Training Mode as any character, and any level. Press start and highlight "reset", but don't press it. Now, fall off the ledge, or make your character commit suicide. While he's dying, hit start and press A to choose "reset". If you timed it correctly, your character will come back to life with no damage counter. So, getting injured doesn't affect you at all. If you die again, your damage counter will return, unless you hit reset again.

Make Ness sparkly

Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

As Ness, use your PK thunder (up+B), make it go up, and then make it crash into the top of Ness's head, from above. Ness should fall down, and when he gets up, he'll have all these sparks around him. You can run around and jump, and they'll stay there. They don't do anything. If you use PK thunder again, they will go away.

Ness has a very electric personality.

Fall through Icicle Mountain
Discovered by: Jesse (Bobomb) of CGS
Exciting-ness scale: 2 out of 10
Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

Go to Icicle Mountain as Kirby, with another character. Make both of them stand under an ice block. Now, make Kirby grab the character and throw the character up. You will both hit the ice and then fall through the course. You'll both die. Strangely, the many floors underneath don't stop you. This doesn't happen without the ice block.
