Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works.

When with both characters, go up a stairway and stop so that one character is at the top and the one behind is between the first and second steps. This works with the stairs leading to Beanbean Castle's entrance. Now, walk only to the left or only to the right. Depending on how you positioned it, often the character in the rear will slide along with the front character, but he will not be walking, but shaking rapidly. Try different stopping points and you'll get different results.

Use the attack where Mario uses fire on Luigi from behind, or where Luigi uses thunder on Mario from behind. Do it so that you crash into one of the rolling spiky cylinders (which will make you jump up and restart from the beginning of the area). Or, with Mario's fire attack, crash into a large Koopa. The sound from charging up the attack or from running along the ground will continue even after getting hit or knocking down the koopa. This can get very annoying. To clear the sound, exit the area or use the fire/thunder attack again.

Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon.

First, you must have the ability to turn Mario really small by hitting him with the hammer and you must have been through at least two green pipes. Go to a green pipe and have Luigi hit Mario to make him small. Then have Mario in the front while he is small and go through the pipe and click on another pipe to warp there. When you get out, you will hear the music that you heard from the other area, which you usually wouldn't hear in this area. For example, you can hear the Bean Bean Village music in Stardust Fields.
