Heal Rod aiming is off

Due to a switch-up in the aiming byte for the Heal rod, it will target the opponents with an attack, and yourself when you go to throw it. This is especially bad because heal rod is supposed to be used to heal your allies, and when you throw it, it does damage.

Put Locke and Gogo in a party. Equip Gogo with any kind of dirk, and Locke with every slot empty. Go to Locke's status screen, and then exit out so you're at the main menu. Now go to Gogo's status screen, and click on the slots below Mimic so that the Menu shows up. SwordTech and/or Runic should be dark, but if you click on them to select them, they will be white in the status screen. The most probable answer for what this happens is that it's loading Locke's weapon data, not Gogo's.

In Gau's status screen, click on the skills to make the right menu appear. If you're playing the FF3 version of the game, you should see an orange streak. Apparently they didn't make Gogo's portrait well enough.
