Jump mishap

Start a battle with any monster that isn't supposed to jump (all of them except reach frog, really). Have a party member cast Muddle on your ally that has the Crusader esper. Right afterwards, have the first (which muddle was cast upon) call the esper Crusader. Only your ally should jump on the Crusader, and he will disappear. He is untargetable, and is uncontrollable unless he hits himself. The enemy(s) will jump soon afterwards and hit your ally(s). If you happen to regain control of your character (by having he or a monster hit him), then you cannot cast any curative or effect spells, lores, or otherwise, because it targets you first, but you are not there.

If you go into the Pheonix Cave to the end a second time, and go to the chest that Locke opened, it will be closed. This is a rather small mapping bug.

Petrify damage

If you have the Atma Weapon equipped and you hit a petrified ally, you will do 1 damage, even though being Petrified is supposed to cause 0 damage all the time. This is due to the Atma Weapon's special ability to do damage according to the attacker's HP.

Rippler trades everything

Rippler is only supposed to trade the status ailments (poison, dark, siezure, etc.) with the opponent and the caster, but it does much more. If you or the enemy uses it on Shadow, then Shadow will lose Interceptor status, and he will never show up again. Near Fatal can also be traded, though your health won't go down, and so will the Rage status.

Gau's counter resets

Equip a Cursed Shield and a Ribbon on Gau and have him leap. When he comes back, the counter will randomly go up to the Max Counter Rate (80) when counting down.
