Warp the characters and their colors with Enguarde

First go to Croctopus Chase (Gorilla Glacier). Then, after all the
parts where you are carried from one place to another by those blast barrels,
find
Enguarde, mount him with Donkey, and go back through the level until
you
reach the last blast barrel that you were shot from. By simply getting
in
that barrel and getting fired out, you can perform many glitchy things:
1. First of all you will notice that Diddy will be walking, not
swimming, behind you. Get off Enguarde, swim to his side, and
press
select. If done correctly, the camera will freeze and Diddy alone will
be
able to walk around as if it were an on-land level.
2. While still frozen, jump back on Enguarde. Diddy should turn
into a
greenish-blue color and hover in mid-air! This allows you to control
Enguarde by himself which results in the Kongs being left behind if you
continue on through the level.
3. While Enguarde, press the Y button and then the A button ONCE
quickly after. It may take practice but Enguarde should turn into
another
greenish-blue Diddy that you will be able to control! Touching the
other
floating Diddy will turn you back into Enguarde.
4. While Enguarde once again, pressing the A button quickly and
repeatedly will permanently turn him into a reddish color with either
Donkey
or Diddy following behind!
5. As this new red Enguarde, have Diddy follow behind you (if
Donkey is
behind you, quickly hit the A button twice and the Kongs should
switch).
Then hit the the Y button and right after, rapidly hit the A button. It
may
take a few tries but this results in Enguarde transforming into an
oddly
colored Donkey Kong that hovers in the air while you are left
controlling
the Kongs once again.

6. Repeat step 5 with Donkey following behind you while you are
Enguarde, and a normally colored Diddy should be hovering in the air
instead
of the oddly colored Donkey Kong.
