Glitch item Discovered by: Wilma of CGS Exciting-ness scale: 5 out of 10 Does it work? --> Confirmed. It works. During wintertime, go over to an igloo (try early January). Leave all your items behind (like just dump them in the ground outside of the igloo) and also leave behind most of your money so you only have 3000 Bells (you can have more if you're willing to lose more). If you're lazy, just attach your money as presents to letters in your inventory. Now, talk repeatedly to the person in the igloo. Every once in a while, they should ask if you want to play a game where you buy an item of theirs for an amount of money you will play for. If the item name is DUMMY, say yes, if not, decline (unless you want the item). Now, play the game and get the DUMMY item. It's a tester item that the programmers supposedly forgot to remove from the game. You can put it in your house... it doesn't do much. It's a white triangle with "DUMMY" written in read on it, in Japanese. Tom Nook will not buy it from you. Go back to the top

When you reach your town, meet Tom Nook at his shop and put your uniform on. When he asks you to plant some flowers, DON'T! Instead, take all the flower packets and drop them on the floor of your house. Now go back to Tom Nook, and he will think that you've planted the flowers! Now, do every job he asks you to do. The last job should be posting an advertisement on the message board. Once all that is done, he'll let you sell items to him. Go back to your house and pick up all the flowers you stole earlier, and you can sell them all back to him for money! Go back to the top

When Tom Nook asks you to put on your uniform, instead take it outside and drop it on the ground outside of his shop. Go back inside and talk to him. He should give you another uniform, because he thinks you've misplaced the first one. Take the next one out, and drop it. Tom Nook will keep on giving you more uniforms, and he'll never stop (as long as you keep on dropping them outside)! Sadly, Tom Nook won't buy uniforms from you, no matter how much you have. Unlimited paper Submitted by: Clark Beyer Exciting-ness scale: 2 out of 10 Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon. Start a new game. Go to Tom Nook's to work, and get to the part where he asks you to deliver a letter. He should give you the paper. Take the paper outside and drop it on the ground. Go back inside and talk to Tom Nook. He'll give you another sheet. Keep on repeating the process of dropping the paper outside. No matter how much paper you've collected, he doesn't buy that kind of paper, but it's still an unlimited supply (now, if an animal asks you to write to them, it's completely free!). Sliding along the ground Submitted by: Derek of CGS Exciting-ness scale: 3 out of 10 Does it work? --> Unconfirmed. We'll check soon. Get any kind of fan (Ex. Maple Fan) and go outside with it and put it in your hands. Keep pressing A to fan yourself. While doing that, push the control stick in one direction so you move slowly while fanning yourself. If you fan at the right speed, when your character moves, you will be sliding along the ground because the game cuts out the animation for moving your feet because you are fanning AND and trying to walk.
